A new poll from CB Polling in Alabama reveals that Roy Moore has re-taken the lead in the Alabama Senate race.
But it’s not going to be a cakewalk.
In the new survey, Moore received just over 50% support and his opponent, Democrat Doug Jones, just under 50% support:
CB Polling conducted an online Google Consumer Survey of Alabama residents from November 16th-19th. Among those surveyed, 648 declared their intention to vote , 49.72% of respondents indicated they would vote for Doug Jones (D), while 50.28% indicated that would vote for Roy Moore (R). The margin of error is 3.8%.

Typical of “swamp” pollsters, CB Polling attempted to hide the result in a headline “Moore Loses Support Among Key Voter Groups.”
Except polls have shown Jones in the lead over the past week, which the Democrat now appears to be letting slip away.
Five-Thirty-Eight admits that the race is deadlocked:
The Alabama special Senate election is a dead heat after more women accused Republican candidate Roy Moore of sexual misconduct.
The FiveThirtyEight Politics podcast team assesses attitudes among different voting groups in Alabama and discusses the candidates’ strategies thus far.
The crew also looks at the pros and cons for Republicans of passing a tax reform bill.
Again, ignore the swampy smell of that paragraph.
The key phrase – “The Alabama Senate election is a dead heat.”
